Song LGA, Adamawa State — In a significant move to strengthen community engagement and monitor progress, delegates from Righthand International Foundation (RIF)—the Local Implementing Partner of the CIA YEIMP ICT Scholarship Program in Adamawa State—in collaboration with Humanitarian Development Manager (HDM), paid a courtesy visit to the ongoing training center in Song Local Government Area on 31st July 2025.

The delegation, led by Mr. Thomas James Saute of Right-hand International Foundation (RIF), inspected the computer laboratory where 150 students are currently undergoing free ICT training as part of the CIA Youth Empowerment Initiative Master Plan (CIA-YEIMP) ICT Scholarship. The group was warmly received by the CIA Executive team and program instructors in Song, who guided the visitors through the facilities and ongoing classes.
The delegates were highly impressed with the level of commitment exhibited by both the students and instructors, as well as the positive impact the program is making in the lives of the youth within the community.
“This is truly a transformative initiative. We are deeply satisfied with the structure, quality of training, and the dedication shown by all involved,” said Mr. Saute during the inspection.

As part of their visit, the delegates announced plans to pay a courtesy call to the Emir of Song and the Chairman of Song Local Government Council, in appreciation of their unwavering support and commitment to empowering the local population through ICT literacy and development.
